Hunter Hewitt2008 Addition Hunter was an original Cub and we're glad to have him back. Hunter has not played baseball since the 2005 edition Cubs, which was a coach pitch team. Hunter has all the athletic skills necessary to make an immediate contribution to the Cubs. At seven years old, Hunter would have made a fine second baseman. Since he has been out of baseball for so long, we'll see where he ends up, but he is a natural athlete. If we can get him excited about baseball and he works at home, we anticipate he will quickly regain his form. Hunter is the fastest boy in the fifth grade, so he has plenty of athletic skills and could play center field if he is not able to land an infield position. We need plenty of speed in this position to back up the right and left fielder on every hit ball. He could become our most improved player from the beginning of the season to the end, when we need him most. Batting
