Ethan Hayes
He has a very strong throwing arm, and as we continue to work on his throwing accuracy, he could become a power pitcher for the Cubs, in the future. He has the potential to be a dominant power pitcher, similar to a Nolan Ryan-type pitcher. Ethan, also is a power hitter with unlimited potential. When he smashes the ball, spectators in the stands all seem to fall silent because of the power he possesses. He has one of the most beautiful swings you will find anywhere among 9 year olds.
During recent games, opposing pitchers have been afraid to pitch to Ethan, and he seems to be getting more bases-on-balls. He is tied for the team lead in walks. With his tall frame, pitchers should be able to throw pitches within his strike zone, but he is not seeing many hittable pitches. Ethan, also, is the team leader in runs scored. It makes little difference to our coaches. If the other teams are afraid of his power, a walk is a run. Especially the way he runs the bases. Batting
